Flock Box founder Jessica is a lifelong chicken lover, entrepreneur and chicken book author.

Her chicken journey started back in the early ’90s when her family brought home their first flock. What began as a family hobby quickly turned into a lifelong passion. Today, chickens aren’t just her pets — they’re part of her story.

Jessica is the published author of The Backyard Chicken Keeper's Bible and The Little Book of Chickens. where she focuses on modern chicken keeping, humane care, and the evolving relationship between people and their flocks. Her work reflects a growing movement toward treating backyard chickens as pets and valued members of the family, not just livestock.

She lives in Colorado with her husband, two boys, and a small flock of backyard chickens.

Jessica created Flock Box with one goal in mind: to bring joy to chicken keepers and their flocks. Each box is thoughtfully curated with handpicked treats, toys, and essentials — designed not just for the hens, but for the humans who love them.
